John Minter Associates - About JMA Inc

John Minter Associates (JMA) has prepared financial and finance related data for college and university administrators since 1974 following the Bowen-Minter studies of financial trends in Independent Higher Education and Public Higher Education in the late 60's, early 70's.

Dr. John Minter was one of the principal authors of the first volumes of Financial Ratios in Higher Education published by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell.

JMA has conducted comparative financial trend studies for local, state, and national higher education entities including NACUBO, The Council on Independent Colleges, Unitied Methodist Church, Presbyterian Ministry of Higher Education, Church of the Nazarene, The United Church of Christ, Congregational; state associations of independent colleges including Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Washington State, Maryland.

Current activites are focused almost exclusively on the publication in electronic format of trends in finance and finance related ratios and statistics useful to top level administrative officers.
